Directions from Thirsk

Take the A170 (signposted Scarborough) 

After about 6 miles, at the top of Sutton Bank, turn left at the National Park Visitor Centre (signposted Cold Kirby/Old Byland)

After  about half a mile turn left (signposted Boltby/Hawnby).

After 1 mile, turn right (signposted Old Byland). We are then the first farm on the right hand side.

Directions from Helmsley

Take the A170 towards Thirsk

At the top of Sutton Bank, turn right at the National Park Visitor Centre , (signposted Cold Kirby/Old Byland) then follow the directions as above.
